For the fourth time, we had the pleasure to support as Mentors the idea of the Global Mentoring Walk – an initiative organised in Poland by the Vital Voices foundation, which has been taking place parallelly in many countries around the world. During a jointed walk, recognised leaders from the world of business, culture, science and diplomacy meet with women, who are looking for inspiration, knowledge and support in building their new career path based on their talents and leadership competencies. This several-hour walk, which gives a space for conversation, exchange of thoughts and ideas, often takes on the character of a long-term relationship that brings extraordinary value to both parties of the process.
This year’s twelfth walk held in Warsaw, turned out to be a record-breaking event, as around 300 people applied, from which 98 mentoring pairs were eventually selected. We are delighted that for the fourth time we were invited to take part in this initiative and had opportunity to share our professional experience of women who thrive in the business environment, but also, as entrepreneurs, face the difficulties associated with running their own business.
