Personality

The SOVA’s 18-factor Personality Questionnaire has been designed to measure personality in the work context, with a view to modern organisations, where roles are increasingly fluid and adaptability to change is becoming the most important attribute. The theoretical basis of the questionnaire is the latest HEXACO personality model, also known as the ‘Big Five Plus’. Recent studies show that expanding the widely used ‘Big Five’ personality model with a sixth factor H (Honesty and Humility), significantly increases the range of possibilities for assessing personality predispositions (Ashton & Lee, 2001, 2007), particularly around Leadership Derailment (“Blokady Liderskie ©”) behaviours. This is extremely important for creating an organisational culture that values inclusivity and diversity and promotes a climate of psychological safety.

The SOVA personality questionnaire is a next-generation tool for assessing a candidate’s fit for a specific role in an organisation. Developed from the most advanced HEXACO personality model (Ashton, Lee 2004), where the ‘H’ factor (from Honesty and Humility) identifies behaviours related to being authentic in action, showing humility and support in leading others, and being humble as well as not emphasising one’s own position. The questionnaire assesses a candidate’s typical behaviours in relation to 18 dimensions, which are the most typical for measuring potential in today’s business environment.
